UHello people,
Location: Guwahati Assam.this is Avis . As usual an incident where a relative in dire needs of money asks so during his/her marriage. The relative in question is my mom’s younger sisters son. So before marriage he came over n we helped him do engagement n all n we helped him whichever way we can. So come marriage on December n his date was on 5th dec 2025.on 4th dec he came home n cried in front of mom asking funds abt 2.5 lakhs. I fortunately arrived home to find him in that state in front of mom pleading n begging. Mom assured him she wil help him( without my consent) n then she asked me to send him 1 lakh which I negotiated with mom n brot it to 50,000.its a small amount i know but its moms savings.he tells mom he wil pay back in march2026.after calling him in march he assured me march 3rd week. Again he doesn’t pick calls. N then in between he assured April 10(m skipping some parts where his mom also got involved n stuff). So it’s may now n he won’t pick calls nor message nor return the money. I am gonna go any measure to get my moms hard earned money back. Yes I have the upi screenshot of sending him. Pls guys if I go to lawyer he/she wil charge me 15/20k( had consulted one) .pls give me a better solution.thanks TLDR:- a cousin bro duped my mom of 50k for emergency on his marriage n as usual not returning calls or money.
