Money recovery from dead person’s bank account.

My grand mother died in 2014 . She had an account in SBI with an amount of 13k in it .
Is it possible to recover that money?

If possible please tell me the process.

Does the bank know she has passed, if no does the account have a debit card, if yes just withdraw it.

Bank don’t know about that.
That bank account doesn’t have debit card

Go to branch. If she had mentioned a nominee things will be easier. See what manager says.

Do you have the mobile number associated with that account.. try registering for UPI & take it out. If netbanking was enabled you can use that as well
