Uokay so i am 18 M and this starts in 2020 June ( From maharashtra if that helps )
My father’s side relative told him to give him 5000 rupees per month for 24 months and in 25th month he will get rupees 150000 back ( so basically 30000 more)
My father belived him and started giving him
The idea behind this was that relative was further transferring this money to some committee and then was giving 150000 back that the committee gave
So kind of he was a middle man
so my dad got the money in June 2022
For next 2 year cycle he convinced my dad to deposit 10000 instead p.m
My dad agreed and start depositing it
When it was time for payment in 2024 june ( Payment of 300000 ) he said that he has recieved the money from the the committee but he has some emergency so he will give our money in 2-3 months
In the starting my dad used to ask him when will he pay but he never repiled straight forward. As the time passed my father also reduced his frequency for asking money.
BTW he is not financial unstable or anything
Her Daughters and wives are teachers ( so no money problem prolly + recently his son has also become teacher )
So now the problem is we are in need of money because in 2-3 months my [b.tech](http://b.tech) will start so will have to pay fee
Still he is not telling when will he give money back ( Forget any interest )
what should we do as he calls us on festivals but never talks about returning money ?
