My first flight got delayed and I missed my second flight

I am travelling from Ahmedabad to Lucknow. My first flight was Akasa Air from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, which got delayed 2 hours even though their notice was it was going to be delayed for 1 hour. I had a consecutive flight already booked with Indigo from Mumbai to Lucknow. Which I had times in 2 hours difference between landing and boarding. I missed my 2nd flight by 15 minutes. My total airfare came down to around 35k.

Akasa airline staff refused to help me or even listen to my concern saying the notice was sent and since the 2nd flight wasnt with the same airline they cant help me. So I am stuff in Mumbai airport having booked another flight for 25k which will be flying 14 hours later. I had to reach to lucknow as soon as possible. I have be drained of my money and time and there is no compensation to be seen in sight.

Can anyone help me legally what can a person do in my position?

Both tickets should have been booked in same PNR for the airline to reschedule without cost.
You will not get any compensation for a two hour delay. None of the airlines will be responsible for consequential damages

Only if it was same PNR they are liable for your second flight.

3 hour delay happens a lot due to several reasons. They are not liable.

For future, never book two different PNRs so close by. Always get connection flight from same airline on same PNR.

Unfortunately, nothing. Delays happen and airlines are not responsible to compensate unless it’s under the same booking. Take it as a learning.

Bro Lucknow jaldi pahuncha tha toh seedha Ahmedabad se Lucknow book karna tha na . Etna circus karne ka kya jarurat tha. Nothing can be done now. The airline is not liable . Take it as a costly lesson. Always book connecting flights in a single pnr.
