April 22, 2025 at 4:20 pmI need some legal advice for a friend who’s been through a really tough situation. Here’s a brief rundown:My friend was in toxic relationship with a guy who would lovebomb her into being physical with her and discard her when she was away.He made verbal promises of love. My friend didn’t see the breakup coming at all. She was completely blindsided and ended up begging her ex not to block her everywhere and to at least talk to her. Unfortunately, the ex didn’t listen and went ahead with cutting all communication. To make things worse, he coerced her into deleting all their chats after the breakup.
But that’s not the end of it—after everything, he went around telling people that she’s psycho ruining her reputation and causing emotional distress.
Now, my friend is wondering if there’s any legal way to act on this. She doesn’t have physical evidence—just her testimony—but the emotional and reputational damage is real.
Can this situation hold any legal merit, even with no physical evidence and the deleted chats?

April 22, 2025 at 5:08 pmWhat is your friend looking to do? Punish someone for being an asshole maybe? And what does lovebombing into a physical relationship means. I swear new phrases get added everyday. Basically what I understood is he said all the right things did all the right things to get into her pants and then decided to ghost her. There is no crime here just shittiness and stupidity. Your friend is an adult and made a conscious choice to get into a relationship. There are no guarantees in the world and a person should try to live with that uncertainty and move forward rather than finding people to pin the blame on everytime things don’t go in your favour. If you reverse the scenario and a woman decides to ghost a man after a fling would we even be having a discussion.-

April 23, 2025 at 2:44 amWhen the sexual assault happened why was she silent? Why did she keep quiet till he bailed off? He is an asshole for sure but why did your friend take all the wrong decisions?-
