April 30, 2025 at 5:50 pmWe’re at our breaking point. My friend’s ex has been harassing her, her friends (including me), and even her family for *months*. What started as emotional blackmail has now turned into full-blown psychological abuse. It began with threats to leak morphed photos of her — disgusting, fake images he used to try to control and silence her. When she refused to give in, he turned to stalking: making new accounts every day, following her and all of us on every platform, messaging people we barely even know, and even showing up in her *hometown*.
He has impersonated mutuals online, created fake accounts to manipulate and blackmail others, and has been messaging people with threats like “I’ll leak your pictures to your parents.” He sends **endless OTPs** — thousands every day — and has been placing **random cash-on-delivery orders** to her house. He’s trying to disrupt, scare, and exhaust everyone around her. He is obsessed. This is calculated and relentless harassment.
We have blocked, reported, and documented everything. But nothing has stopped him. It’s like he wakes up every day with a new method to torment us. We’re tired of looking over our shoulders, tired of changing numbers, tired of talking about this.
Here’s what he’s done so far: (and more)
• **Threatened to leak morphed and fake images** of her
• **Stalked all of us across every social media platform** with countless fake/burner accounts
• **Messaged strangers, mutuals, even distant relatives**, trying to manipulate and extract information
• **Visited her hometown**
• **Impersonated people on social media**, tricking others into trusting him
• **Blackmailed her friends**, saying he’ll leak their pictures/info to their families
• **Flooded our phones with 1000s of OTPs daily**
• **Placed repeated COD deliveries** to her and her family’s and friends house
• **Messaged us on Paytm, GPay, and other financial platforms**
• **Hacked into her account** and **attempted to hack her sibling’s account**
*We just want him gone. Not blocked. Not ignored. GONE. We want to forget he ever existed.*
Please — if anyone has dealt with something like this before or has legal knowledge, we’re desperate. What can we do to make sure he never contacts, sees, or finds any of us again? How do we end this nightmare?

April 30, 2025 at 6:18 pmHis parents know all about it. His father is no more and he doesn’t listen to anyone in his family. My friend’s dad is also against legal actions. She is also not sure if he retaliates to any complaints-

Either you file complaint against this man or you can disclose this thing by raising voice outside his home.
Later is probably the last option.
I will not suggest you to do kuch bhi ulta seedha jisse baat bigde
If her father is not lodging complaint, then file an online FIR and let police do their job.-

And yeah go to legal aid cell at your district court. Legal aid is free for women. You can get free legal advice and services and i think you might get a good lawyer who can handle the police as well

April 30, 2025 at 6:20 pmYa but there is not just one victim here right! And for someone who is obsessed with harassing you all, and is stopping at nothing, ignorance is not the solution. Why is her dad against it?-

April 30, 2025 at 6:42 pmI’m really sorry to hear about what you and your friend are going through. Here’s a plan to address the harassment:1. **File an FIR**: Immediately visit your local police station to file a First Information Report (FIR) under Sections 354D (stalking), 507 (criminal intimidation by anonymous communication), and 499/500 (defamation) of the IPC. Include all harassment details and evidence.
2. **Cybercrime Complaint**: Also, file a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (https://cybercrime.gov.in/) under relevant IT Act sections like 66C (identity theft) and 66E (violation of privacy).
3. **Gather Evidence**: Compile all harassment messages, screenshots of fake accounts, and documentation of OTPs and COD orders. These will be crucial for both the police and future legal proceedings.
4. **Restraining Order**: Approach a court to seek a restraining order against him. This will legally prohibit him from contacting or approaching your friend or anyone involved.
5. **Legal Counsel**: Consult a lawyer experienced in cyber and criminal law to guide you on maintaining the FIR’s progress and handling potential legal maneuvers from the harasser.
Stay strong, document everything carefully, and ensure you remain safe while this process unfolds.
