April 26, 2026 at 2:24 pmI honestly don’t even know whether to laugh or be angry at this point.I’ve been a loyal customer of Comway (ISP in Delhi) for a long time. Recently renewed their yearly 300 Mbps plan (their most expensive one).
Then suddenly, my internet stopped working.
What followed was absolute madness:
1. 10–12 calls daily
2. Complaints on app
3. Direct calls to technician
Every single time:
“Sir please wait, technician will visit”
No one ever came.
This went on for 10+ days.
As a student, this completely messed up my:
1. Studies
2. Work
3. Daily routine
And honestly, the worst part wasn’t the internet, it was the constant mental exhaustion of chasing them.
Then I tried something crazy.
I registered as a NEW CUSTOMER using my mother’s number.
Same address. Same company.
And guess what?
👉 Within HOURS, I got a call
👉 Their team started working
👉 AND MY INTERNET STARTED WORKING AGAIN
So basically:
They could fix it anytime
They just didn’t care enough to fix it for an existing customer
It doesn’t end here.
Even now:
– Internet is still unstable
– Disconnects randomly
– Complaints still ignored
They refused compensation.
Just extended my plan by 1 month (which I didn’t even ask for).
What I have:
– Call recordings
– Complaint logs
– Screenshots
– Full proof of everything
What I’ve done:
Filed complaint on National Consumer Helpline (currently “In Process”)
What I want now:
Not just a fix.
I want accountability.
Need advice:
– Is this legally “deficiency in service”?
– Can I claim compensation (₹25k–₹50k)?
– Should I go to consumer court now?
– Does the “new vs old customer treatment” strengthen my case?
At this point, it’s not about Wi-Fi anymore.
It’s about how casually companies treat paying customers like they don’t matter.
Would really appreciate guidance.
