March 25, 2025 at 10:33 amMy mother is refusing to do household work, not something like very difficult task, she is refusing to fill water in the water tank. All she has to do is to switch on the motor in the morning. She is refusing to do that and not letting me use the water she has stored for washing myself after I came back from my class. She also threw my things on my face. they could have scratched my face very badly. What to do????She tore off a cloth of mine, which was very good in quality to make a rag. And she is commanding everybody. Just came in the bathroom to hit my head with an empty bucket when i quietly took another bucket to wash myself.
Class 12. Should I consider running away from this madhouse? Talking about starting to get chores done, I am not even able to sleep for 8 hours, surviving on 4 hours of sleep. I sleep on the bus and in the class for extra hours if you will count that as proper sleep. We have a 2bhk, one room is under construction, I asked my father to get it built asap so that I can maybe shift because all others don’t think I need to study or sleep or do anything. But he keeps getting tiles put, then removed, again put again removed, get the Chaukhat (the wooden boundary on which the door is put) fixed then remove and so on. I am not able to study because she switches on her radio and starts listening to something radio City channel. Meanwhile my elder unemployed sister who also sits in the same room starts listening to some stupid youtube channel talking about politics. Earlier they used to keep Tv on for hours on end. When i told them I am getting disturbed they moved to these options. They don’t even use headphones. To compensate for the time wasted i try to study at night from 11 to 1. Then my body doesn’t support all nighters so I go to sleep. Around 4 o clock she will wake up and start brushing her teeth, means just scrubbing the teeth loudly in the same room and will go to spit in the bathroom later and will come and switch on her radio again in the room while she will go to the kitchen and start doing whatever work she thinks she is doing. 1 to around 4:30 is the only time I can sleep because then my sister gets up and starts making noise again. Like this i won’t survive.

March 25, 2025 at 10:46 amGoing the legal is definitely harder than switching the motor on yourselfDid you say class? How old are you?
If you’re not financially independent; you may have to start doing chores for the people who keep and feed you

March 25, 2025 at 11:35 amYes she is. She keeps fighting with everyone and writes weird stuff on a piece of paper. Something like there is a strategy being done by the government in which monuments are being constructed for storing uranium. Something like this she had written. As crazy as it seems, her craziness is reaching new heights. Again she came in the bathroom when i had forcefully taken a bucket to wash myself, I just came from school, she came to snatch the water and when i held on to the bucket she raised a different empty bucket in the air to hit my head. I threatened to call the police and she went. She has been under depression since 2012. Took medicines but never recovered. Now also she has medicines but throws them maybe.-

March 25, 2025 at 12:42 pmSounds like she has schizophrenia! If youโre a minor please ask a trusted relative or your dad to take her to the doctor as soon as possible.

March 25, 2025 at 2:48 pmCan you go to your local library and study there, after school? Sounds like your mother has mental health issues, is sitting down and talking to your father about this an option? Since itโs your final year and crucial time for your future.
If they are not using headphones, you can start using ear plugs so that you arenโt disturbed by their noise.
I am sorry youโre going through this, nobody at your age should have to worry about things like this.
