April 4, 2025 at 6:13 pmI think samsung was providing free screen replacement once so if its first time then they should replace it. If its not a physical damage and it happend due to sofware update then they need to replace it-

April 4, 2025 at 6:18 pmGo to a different service center. These service center people’s behaviour change from place to place. Someone else might be willing to help you. You can also register a ticket with NCH-

April 4, 2025 at 7:02 pmSamsung had a policy to provide a “one-time” free screen replacement, under which a device like the S21 FE 5G (my device) was covered. I see no reason why your S23, a device which is much more recent, would not be covered.Barring any physical or water damage, you would have had to pay about โน550.
The service centres do try to rip the customer off by quoting policy nonsense. They quoted โน13,000 for my device, and only when I told them I knew about this policy and had confirmed with customer care, did they get ready to accept my device. Also, it does not matter if your device is 1.5 years old; the policy covers devices up to 3 years.

April 4, 2025 at 7:13 pmI would suggest complaining to NCH then.
I have Samsung running in circles, asking me to accept their โน514 repair charge offer.
