March 27, 2025 at 10:12 amMy sister is married to him since 10 years. He is in affair with a woman with two kids. She is also his distant niece. This affair started 3 years ago. My sister got to know about it recently. He used to force her to talk with that woman and she used to refuse (she had this vibe that something is wrong). He started physically/emotionally abusing her. Recently, she accidentally opened his instagram account and saw their chats (which is now deleted). When she confronted him, he denied. She even tried to contact that woman’s husband and inform him. But he didn’t listen to her.A lot has been going on since then. He has forced my sister to not talk with us. He took her phone and has installed something that lets him know whenever we talk with her. On top of it, he is now worried about his image and is threatening my sister that he will kill himself. He literally pulled a gun on himself today. He has also threatened my other sister that he will kill her as we got to know about this affair.
My sister has two little kids with him. I don’t know how to deal with this situation. My father doesn’t know anything about this. He is already dealing with lots of health issues.
Considering the current scenario, I am worried if he does something to my sister or her kids. Also, if he does something to himself, we don’t have any evidence.

March 27, 2025 at 10:24 amTell your sister to leave the man. She will get the alumni and child support so now need to think about children. Trust me if she remains thinking will only go bad for her.-

March 27, 2025 at 10:56 amDocument his behaviour, record his threats, try to find more chats and pictures, record him being abusive, and then file a case for abuse. Your sister will get the upper hand if she proves cheating in the court.Nal

March 27, 2025 at 6:07 pmThe internet is making it easy to spread these news. Infidelity has been existing since we were cavemen and it will be there even after we turn into robots. It’s human nature, most people can’t control their urges and be monogamous

March 27, 2025 at 5:11 pmDivorce is the most ideal situation. Don’t make any compromise and she might get maintenance for her children too. Alimony depends upon her income and she will get 100% if she doesn’t have any job or source of income -

March 27, 2025 at 6:41 pmIf the husband has a gun at home and behaving in a volatile manner, your sister should immediately leave with the kids and you should help her leave. Everything else comes later. -

March 31, 2025 at 10:23 amHe could have installed some app to spy on her in her phone. Let her buy a basic phone with a different sim and contact you or lawyer that she has to hire. Let her try to collect the evidence of him cheating in the form of photographs, messages, videos, hotel bookings, etc.She can file for a Contested Divorce on the grounds of adultery & cruelty.
