January 23, 2025 at 5:50 pmI am a student in the final year of BTech my university has not issued marks card for any exams I have written since 1st sem. The university has already collected marks card fee during exam application fee itself. Its a state government university. What are my options ? -

January 26, 2025 at 6:15 am1. Write a letter to the University demanding a copy of the mark cards. Enclose the fee receipt paid for the mark cards along with this letter. Specifically rely upon this receipt to claim a copy of the mark card. Send this letter through India Post [through RPAD]. Keep a copy of the tracking details.2. University will most likely will not reply.
3. File a Writ of Mandamus before the High Court in which the University is established.

February 3, 2025 at 7:29 amYou can appear in the writ petition as party in person. The court will allow you represent yourself in the writ petition. Or you can approach the legal aid services authority in the High Court.-
