Myntra Fake Watch

I ordered a Casio G-Shock GM-2100G-1A9DR from @myntra on 25th March for ₹13,465. Received a FAKE watch. Trusted them and exchanged it—got another FAKE.

Verified at Casio store—it’s a copy.

Return was put on hold by delivery guy saying it failed “quality check.” How can Myntra send fakes and then reject returns?

It’s been 10+ days. No refund. No response. No accountability. Just mental stress.

We’re spending ₹15,000 and getting fake products?

I don’t just want my money back—I want compensation for the harassment.

Has anyone else faced this?
What action can I take?
Please suggest.

They’ll mostly drag this out for so long you just lose hope, shouldn’t trust myntra and the likes when buying expensive goods, just go to a store or you’ll spend more time trying to get refund rather then if you just bought offline

Get it in written from the Casio store that it’s a fake watch. And then just sue Myntra, if you are willing to fight it out.

Inform Casio about it. They have deeper pockets to sue Myntra.

You can verify on casio site if it’s really fake or not & if it’s fake then you can escalate via X (twitter) to Myntra.

I have noticed these brands social media teams work better than regular support teams.

Post on twitter.
Get some proof from Casio that its a fake
Send legal notice through a lawyer
Pursue case in consumer court
Ask for 30K refund, 15K for watch cost, 5K lawyer cost, and 10K for losing mental peace

If paid by credit card, do a charge back citing all the correspondence/ screenshot…works much faster & effectively

Buy it from tata cliq or tata cliq luxury, you will get genuine

How did you get to know that it’s fake? Is there any noticeable difference other than asking the casio guys. Even i have ordered multiple watches from Flipkart in the past. 😥

You can check the back of the watch—if it’s a genuine Casio, it should have a serial number. Also, fake watches usually have a bulkier back, while the original ones are slimmer. Pay attention to the second dial too; there are noticeable differences between real and fake versions. Please visit a showroom, Helios, or any trusted physical watch store to examine the watch in person before buying. I made the mistake of chasing discounts and regretted it—don’t do the same.
