Name Change/Correction – How to go about it?

Hi folks, I am in the process of consolidating my name across documents which has been mismatched for years. I want to keep [firstName] [lastName] across all documents.

I got my adhar updated via voter ID card, and used that to change my name across all the stuff I use – PPF, epf, other docs, etc.

With my passport, my name is in following format: [firstName] [ middleName] [lastName], the PSK specifically told I need to go through the name change process and get those docs in case I want to update it.

As far as I understand the process is:
1. Do an affidavit
2. two ads in newspapers
3. gazette notification

bring that to passport office and all the relevant docs.

I’ve tried to go about this on my own but am struggling. Could anyone recommend a contact or lawyer who can get this done for me? I’ve already done one ad, so if possible I’d like to reuse it.
