UMy friend Ravi nvested in a business that dealt it Finance. He invested nearly 20 lac rupee from himself and his investors with ismail. After three months when asked about money ismail gave gave a vague excuse that some fake cop took all the money . Believing this, Ravi told to somehow give the money so ismail said he will sell his only house and give 10 lac and settle it . Believing that atleast he is getting something ravi took 5 lac cash and 5 lac was suppose to be given once house is sold . Ravi and ismail both made a legal document stating that ismail gave 5 lac cash and remaining he is giving a cheque.
Once after 3 months when Ravi put the cheque knowing ismail has the money and telling him that he is putting cheque,the cheque bounces as seemed like now ismail has no intention to pay and now Ravi is doing a cheque bounce case against ismail .
Now Ravi is angry as despite Believing in all the bogus of ismail , he settled for 10 lac , but now the cheque has bounced he wants to claim the whole remaining 15 lac .
Question here is cheque is of 5 lac amt that would have settled everything, has invited cheque bounce case against ismail and legal proceeding is being carried out by Ravi.
Question- can Ravi or the investors claim thier money which they had put in ismail ac ?
