February 20, 2025 at 6:36 am#Hey everyone,
I recently received an email from Deloitteโs Background Investigation Team stating that they found a **criminal case (S.C.C. – Summons/Summary Criminal Case)** linked to my name during verification. The details mention a **pending case before the Civil and Criminal Court, Nashik Road**, with the next hearing scheduled for **March 12, 2025**.
I do have some connection to the case, but the **judge has assured me that I will receive clearance** and that the matter will be resolved in my favor. However, Deloitte has asked me to submit an explanation and supporting documents.
# My Concerns:
1. **How serious is this issue for my onboarding?**
2. **What documents should I submit to Deloitte to minimize any impact?**
3. **Has anyone faced a similar situation? How did you handle it?**
4. **Should I wait until I get the clearance letter, or should I explain the situation upfront and submit documents later?**Iโve already acknowledged their email and informed them that Iโm gathering documents, but they havenโt responded yet. Iโm worried that this might affect my job offer. Any advice or insights would be really helpful!
Thanks in advance for your guidance. ๐

February 20, 2025 at 7:29 amMy two friends and I were riding a bike with triple seating when a police officer suddenly started abusing us for no apparent reason. One of my friends responded rudely, which escalated the situation. As a result, the officer issued us a receipt and instructed us to pay a fine in court. When we went to court, the judge advised us **not to pay the fine**, as it could affect our eligibility for a passport and other official documents. As a result, the case is still pending. However, this is **not a serious case**, and **no FIR was filed against me**.
Please help me resolve this issue.
