Needs advice: Broker promised ₹3 lakhs cashback after property deal, now delaying and cheque bounced

        Hi all,
I purchased a property through a broker firm in Noida. The broker (a lady) promised to return ₹2 lakh to me after receiving their ₹4 lakh commission from the builder. As proof, they even gave me a credit note on their company’s notepad and a cheque for ₹3 lakh.

But when I deposited the cheque, it got returned — payment was stopped. Since then, they’ve been delaying the payment with various excuses. Now they’re asking me to come to their office. I’m wondering why they would insist on that when they know I might confront them strongly. Are they just stalling or trying to control the situation?

Has anyone faced something similar? Should I go to their office or not?
Why they want me come to office . They know if I go there lot of drama I will create.
do not have time for legal Way.I am doubting they may play some lady card there or something else which I am not able to collect the dots.
Needs money a lot , cannot let it go like that.
Got one more frustrated perosn facing same issue.
He is planning to go to office with 2-3 wild lady along with me and do lot of drama there .
How to get back my money, It’s been more than 4 months now.
        Looking for serious HELP

            Lawyer here.

From the date of cheque bounce, a legal notice must be sent within 30 days. The notice must mention, return the amount within 15 days. This 45 day timeline is mandatory in nature.

After the expiry, proceed with the cheque bounce case.

              Lawyer here from Noida
You can send her the legal notice
              If she fails to reply
You can file a case before a court under section 138 NI ACT

I m sure she will way once she receives the legal notice

                Why bother?
                Just start S138 NIA proceedings.
