My bike insurance receipt contains a period of liability cover of 5 years(not expired yet) and period of own damage cover of 1 year(expired) which one is actually taken into consideration by the traffic police. Recently I got a challan even though I have insurance why? Shall I pay the challan or complian in pariwahan seva?

You should dispute the challan on Parivahan website

You can visit the RTO or Traffic Police Office in person with your insurance documents. If they refuse to cancel the challan despite valid insurance, you can challenge it in a traffic court.
