Need advice on marriage certificate update for mother

My parents are applying for a VISA and the documents required are marriage certificate. The issue is the marriage certificate has my mothers maiden surname whereas all other documents like passport/ aadhar has my mothers married surname. There was an affidavit made earlier (almost 25 years ago) hence my mothers legal name is also her married name.
How to change the marriage certificate name in this case?
