Need advice on negative charges due to bounce EMI checks on bank account.

Due to personal reasons I was unable to repay some emi on time Check bounce charges have accumulated.

Note: 1 future EMI pending rest all cleared up.

Nor the mobile app nor the bank statements show how much I have accumulated as negative it just shows “0”.

Using a ATM machines Check balance it shows around “-10K”

I heard from somewhere quoting below:

>Stop using it and transfer all amounts to ur other bank. If u r not using a bank account for 3 years it will be marked dormant. And since account balance can’t go below zero. So banks are not going to impose and due on this.

Will this actually work?
