UI took project with company in Mumbai. It was mobile app development. It was 2 phase project. We signed contract for 1
25 L for both phase. I started working on project, but there where details I required and they were delaying those details. So deadline was missed. But they told me they won’t cut compensation. Now they were telling me to do some additional work which was not included in contract l, so I do zoom meet and we talk, he was saying it’s not fair, it’s your work. You have to do it. And he threatened me with law suit. After that I continue working. And we had demo of product, I submitted my work with available details. They said we will review and return back in 7 days. It been 10 days. Then they do zoom meet again, and talk with me like I should push they for pending work. I remained them for 3-5 days by WhatsApp message. They write ok and that it. Then they was one tech issue which they know. I also provided them alternative too. But they said it’s OK, use old solution
Then there was another demo, where same technical problem happen. They started accusing me that you are not good developer, you Don’t know anything. So I left meeting and left WhatsApp group and went to sleep. After next day. I send them new app , they didn’t see that and yesterday they mailed me for penalty of breaching the contract and asking me for 1.25 L.What should I do ?.
I have worked 1 month, will I get me compensation ? -
RLawyer here you should have done the conversation on email as it has a better evidence value……
But now the things are done you can revert then with a brief email now by stating all the facts and circumstances with date and time of the incidents that has occurred also attach the screenshot but with the number present not names…..
Also consult a lawyer in your nearest jurisdiction…. Where do you reside?
