So i want to file an report to a police station basically an FIR, the issue is my girlfriend was sexually assaulted by her mother’s affair (her 2nd father) when she was 12, he was a really disgusting guy and he sexually assaulted her and her siblings as well. I’m underage as of now and will need 2 more years to be 18, the fact that such disgusting people are still roaming around and it happened with my girlfriend makes me really mad. Her Biological Father doesn’t wanna get involved with all this and her mother is protecting her affair even after knowing what he did. I’m not 18 yet but I’m willing to do everything and anything to give her and her siblings justice, she’s with me for this too. However I don’t have any idea of what to do exactly after I turn 18, I know adults won’t really do anything and I’m the only one who can do this for her. I don’t really know what to do cause I have my own career and goals as well but I want her to get justice without going or hiring a lawyer frequently cause I would not really be having money for hiring a lawyer at teenage, I just need a lawyer as a guardian to advice me on what to do. (Sorry for bad English)

That’s kind of very tricky. Considering your GF is probably the only one privy to the information on the abuse, it wouldn’t be hard for the perpetrator to guess she or someone known to her tipped the Child helpline off. You should take the help of an adult.
