FI was driving in the left lane and intended to take a left turn at the signal. However, a red Brezza in the right lane also tried to take a left turn, which resulted in a scratch and dent on my right-side mirror and fender.
The driver didn’t have the courtesy to stop and check the damage; instead, he drove off. I overtook him and requested him to stop. He briefly stopped the vehicle but took off again just as I was about to step out. I had to chase him again and asked him to stop, and only then did he finally comply. When I went to speak to him, he argued that I was the one at fault. He also claimed to be a police officer and an SP, further stating that I should file a complaint.
