SHi Everyone,
I recently received a final order in my favour from RERA. As per the order, the builder has been directed to collect the pending amount and proceed with registering the apartment in my name. I had already paid around 50% of the amount earlier.
However, despite the order, the builder is now ignoring my emails and phone calls. I’m currently staying out of state, so visiting their office in person is not easy at the moment.
Some Background: I had booked a flat, but later noticed discrepancies in the floor plan. I raised the issue and filed a case with RERA. The builder subsequently got a corrected plan approved, but unilaterally cancelled my booking citing false reasons. After a legal process, RERA passed an order in my favor, instructing the builder to proceed with the registration.
Now, with the builder not responding, I’m unsure of what steps I can take next to enforce the order.
Could someone please guide me on my options from here? Any help would be appreciated.
