January 12, 2025 at 9:20 amLong story short, my father used to work for a beverage company, which was then acquired by a bigger competitor. Had to be laid off due to COVID. The company has still not paid the PF money back. How to go about it? -

January 12, 2025 at 9:46 amFnF means full and final settlement which company pays when employee is terminated.PF is – company deduct small money from employee salary and deposit in epfo account.
Lets say your dad’s salary is 100 Rs. Dad opted for 10 Rs PF deduction. Dad gets 90 Rs as a salary now. Company pays 90 Rs salary to your dad + also company deposit same PF amount your dad opted that 10 Rs into epfo. so now epfo account will have monthly 20 Rs.
10 Rs deducted from salary
10 Rs by company

January 12, 2025 at 9:47 amFnF is full n final settlement. Companies usually hold your last pay check to verify if there’s any damage done by you towards company’s assets. They take 45 days and release your last pay check.
