Need help with Oriental Insurance claim – CRPF personnel’s family still waiting

A friend of mine recently lost her father, who was a CRPF personnel. He had an insurance policy through Oriental Insurance. The family has submitted all the required documents, but it’s been a long time with no progress or clear communication from the company.

They’re emotionally drained and stuck waiting. Has anyone here dealt with similar cases or knows how to escalate this? Any contacts, advice, or guidance would mean a lot right now.

Send a representation/legal notice to Oriental insurance threatening legal action. This usually makes them work. You may also check Insurance ombudsman or IRDAI’s complaint portal
