A person has been staying in my father’s house for almost seven years without paying rent. We took the matter to court and won the case, but the person still refuses to leave the house. What legal steps can we take next?

When he goes out, break in, throw his stuff out and pretend you’ve been living there. Nobody can prove he lives there as court ruled in your favour.

He cannot go to police either for you throwing his stuff out.

File an application for execution of the eviction decree. The court will send its bailiff with police to physically evict the tenant.
