AI am a dropper who had taken a year drop for neet. But I couldn’t get into medical college because I couldn’t get marks more than the cut-off marks. So I thought of shifting my stream from medicine to engineering, because if I have to get a medical seat then, I can I get through management quota which costs around 50 lakh, so I opted for engineering through management quota thinking it will be less. My parents thought of putting me into top reputed college let’s say X college which costs around 72 lakh for a management seat. Meanwhile, my dad’s not-so-close friend, who was a reputed person in some community and lots of politician friends, told him that he will reduce the payment to 50 lakh by talking with the management internally ( kind of like black money). My dad believed him and he called us to the college the next day. We went and he talked to some other man who was from the management and after long time, the seat was accepted and my dad handed him over 50 lakhs to him in cash. But here’s the twist, the top reputed college X had a newly subsidary college named Y, which was located inside the college X , known for none and was not in the google as well. And turns out my admission happened to college Y and not reputed college X. The fees there in college Y is 32 lakh. My father and I felt so foolish for believing in that person and being scammed. What procedure do you think I can take to get back my money back from him?
