Hey guys, I am a final-year undergraduate student studying at a private deemed-to-be university. As I am completing my degree this year, I need to apply to various state universities for my postgraduate studies. However, these universities are asking for marks, while my college follows a grading system. When we requested the marks from the university, they refused to provide them, stating that they will not issue marks and denied the request without giving any valid reason.

Is it illegal for deemed university to provide marks.

write a complaint letter to ugc and also file under RTI.
