January 13, 2025 at 3:02 pmI need your advice on this situation. In 2022, I purchased 25,000 unlisted shares through 3adeal. However, due to several reasons at the time (including moving out of India), I didnโt submit the required documents despite receiving multiple follow-ups from 3adeal. When I reached out to them in 2024 to inquire about the status of my purchase, I received no response. Recently, I contacted them again, provided the necessary documents, and asked for an update.
Currently, the value of the shares has risen to โน11.2. 3adeal now claims that they tried to contact me until 2023 but didnโt receive a response from my side, which is accurate. However, they are now offering only two options:
1. A refund of the amount I initially paid, or
2. Allocation of shares at the current price (2,700 shares @ โน11.2 per share, as opposed to the 25,000 shares @ โน1.2 per share that I originally purchased).Agreeing to either of these options would result in a significant loss for me. While I acknowledge that I didnโt communicate effectively or submit the documents in time, I believe that if 3adeal intended to reject my allocation due to missing documents, they should have informed me of this earlier and facilitated a refund instead of remaining unresponsive.
I am now requesting the allocation of the original 25,000 shares at the price I purchased them for (โน1.2 per share). Would this be a reasonable and fair request? Please advise
Thank you
