Posting this on behalf of my friend.I think I’ve gotten caught up in a scam it’s one of those “form filling from home” jobs. I e-signed an agreement and even shared my Aadhaar card. The agreement didn’t have my name on it, but it did say I’d have to pay ₹5,000 if I didn’t complete 800 forms within a week on their website.
So far, I’ve only managed to do about 300 forms, and honestly, it’s becoming really overwhelming. They’ve even disabled the option to paste text, so I have to type every single detail by hand. It’s super time-consuming, and I’m starting to feel like this whole thing is a scam. They promised I’d earn ₹40,000 if at least 720 forms were correct, and sent some payment screenshots as proof, but now I’m pretty sure those were fake.
I don’t know what to do. What happens if I don’t finish the task? Can they actually send a legal notice or anything like that? I’m also worried because they have a photo of my Aadhaar card.
