My neighbour who has a vacant land beside me suddenly informs of 1-2 feet of encroachment after he got it surveyed before selling it (He has a plan to sell it). He doesn’t have any compound walls because his property is covered by 3 private properties’ compound walls (One of which is mine) already and one side exposed to the road.
My house was built 18 years ago via a contractor post required checks as of then. Am not sure if the claim of 1-2 ft of encroachment is true. I also need to verify via a surveyor. Pls advise as to what are my options and how this can be resolved? I am a senior citizen with no support of law as such.
