May 6, 2026 at 4:31 amToday, a very disturbing incident happened with my family. A dispute started after our neighbours began cutting down a tree behind our property without informing or asking us. My mother and sister peacefully opposed it, and my sister started recording the situation for safety and evidence. During the argument, abusive language was used towards my mother, and then the elderly man from the neighbourโs side forcefully grabbed my sisterโs phone and smashed it on the ground. We did not physically touch or assault anyone. It is heartbreaking and unacceptable that things escalated to this level over a simple property-related disagreement. No one should have to face intimidation, verbal abuse, or destruction of personal property for standing up peacefully. They’re still cutting down more trees while my sister is in shock, idk what to do im a 17 year old teem what can i do in this situation. please help -

May 6, 2026 at 10:32 amIf the trees are not on their property then perhaps it’s better not to stop them for doing it.In any case it would be best to approach the women’s cell in the local police station. Crimes against women get escalated very quickly

May 6, 2026 at 6:35 pmthis sounds like the situation stopped being just about trees very quickly once intimidation and property damage entered into it especially with your sister recording for safety and then having the phone smashed the part that usually matters most now is preserving whatever evidence still exists because these neighbour disputes often turn into competing stories afterward have you checked whether any part of the incident or the tree cutting itself was captured by nearby cctv neighbours phones or cloud backup from your sisters damaged phone before anything gets lost
