May 6, 2026 at 3:23 pmWe filed an FIR ( case of physical assault by iron rod and opposite party also filed fake cross FIR) on 8th Feb 2026 and and a case is showing on my district e-court portal as case registered on 11 march 2026 and it was showing first hearing date as 30th april 2026 , but we did not recieved any Court Notice to appear in court and my family member are also waiting for it. And they did not go to Court on 30th April 2026 as they are saying we will go only when they receive court Notice to appear .So what could be possible reason for delay of the Court Notice ? What should we do now? Now it has become 3 month now.

May 6, 2026 at 4:32 pmthis kind of confusion happens more often than people expect because sometimes the case gets listed on ecourts before notice actually reaches everyone or the process itself gets delayed somewhere in between the part that usually matters is whether summons were formally issued at all or if the matter was just internally listed for procedural steps since those are not always the same thing also relying only on physical notice can sometimes create problems later if dates keep passing have you checked the actual case status order sheet on ecourts to see what happened on 30th april or whether the court recorded absence from your side there -

May 6, 2026 at 8:15 pmYou will receive a notice if the court takes cognizance of the offence registering it as a criminal case from a prima facie reading of the complaint. It may get dismissed too!
