No result / dates being given in Delhi rent control case

A case was filed by us on our tenant by us in 2020 regarding eviction on bonafide ground ie section 14 e of the rent control act but it’s been 5 years and no result
We even hired a senior lawyer but the judge was always missing or gave a further date .
It’s been five years , is something fishy or it’s lengthy process in general ?
The date given today on behalf of the judge is in July as he wasn’t present or available today despite it being noted to him.
What to do? An earlier appeal for preponing the date was filed in January which was again rejected by the judge .
What to do?
