February 12, 2025 at 5:02 pm[Reposting this since the cross-posting failed.]After contributing to my EPF for 10 years (since 2014), I am currently unemployed for the past 8 months and wanted to withdraw my complete funds from EPF.
Yes, I agree that I did not pay attention to merge the member accounts after moving to a new organization and missed out on compounding the interest.I have confirmed that the following are in order:
– Single UAN ID
– 3 Member IDs for the 3 organizations that I had been employed with concurrently.
– All 3 Member IDs have my correct and same Member Name, Fatherโs Name, Date of Birth, Gender, UAN, Mobile number.
– The last organization has NOT updated the Date of Exit in the portal.
With the umpteen half-baked rejection reasons that I read in our forums, the confusions:
Confusion 1: What steps would be the quickest to withdraw the funds from all the member accounts, and approximately how many days/months will this take?
– Option 1: Raise 1 withdrawal request by selecting all 3 member accounts?
– Option 2: First merge the member accounts to 1 account, and then raise a withdrawal request?
Confusion 2: What should be the reason for withdrawal? Will I get the 100% amount by citing unemployment or funding a home loan?
Confusion 3: Do I HAVE TO update the Date of Exit in the last organizationโs member account before raising a withdrawal request?
TL;DR : I have a UAN account with 3 Member accounts. What would be the best and quickest steps to withdraw the entire EPF funds from all 3 accounts? What valid reason will enable a 100% withdrawal? Should I update the Date of Exit of the last organization before withdrawal?
