I’m facing an issue while applying for my PAN card. My name on **Aadhaar** is **Tanuj**, but I’m applying for the PAN card with the name **Tanuj Yadav**. I’ve selected the **Certificate of Identity signed by an MLA** as proof of identity, which mentions my full name “Tanuj Yadav”.

Since Aadhaar is mandatory for PAN application, I’m concerned about the **name mismatch** between the two documents—**Aadhaar** (Tanuj) and **Certificate of Identity** (Tanuj Yadav).

Will this cause my **PAN application to be rejected**?

Is the **Certificate of Identity signed by an MLA** valid for PAN processing?
