Passport police verification. Please help.

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for a passport in Pune, and the status showed that my application was pending police verification. The status update mentioned that once the verification was clear, my passport would be printed. However, I did not receive any call from the police station regarding verification, and now the status has changed to:

“Police Verification Report is not clear, and the application is under review at the Regional Passport Office.”

I’m not sure what this means or what steps I should take next. Has anyone experienced this before, and what should I do to resolve this? Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated!

Write an email to the rpo or tweet them about the situation they will guide you? Or you can go to SPs office and ask clarification from them. Once the local cops verify it will go to SPs office since local cops didn’t call you, you can visit them and ask them too
