Passport related query – address verification

I was applying for passport but my aadhar still has the address of last rented apartment and all the bills that come for this house is paid by parents and hence come under their name. So how to verify my address? Cannot provide passbook as i dont have one, instead i can generate a statement where present address can be verified but not sure if will get accepted. Any way?
