March 10, 2025 at 5:57 pmMy mother went to a doctor, who prescribed 2 tabs, once a day each. Pharmacist told to consume one of em twice a day. Medicine was Viscojoy 600. What could be done in this case as side effects shown in google are pretty serious. -

March 10, 2025 at 6:20 pmI just checked the side effects as well as the medicine details. Nothing concerning to be honest. This medicine helps you loosen up mucus buildup and breathe properly.
Also, you should ask your mom to go by docโs suggestion, not pharmacist guy.

March 10, 2025 at 8:00 pmDoc didnt read out the medicines he just wrote em and normally pharmacist reads out the direction of use and shit, its like an unsaid rule, and we all know how legible handwritinfg most of the docs have. I was just reading the prescription and found out shes taking em wrong, so she started panicking and all. Thanks for the help tho.

March 10, 2025 at 7:59 pmUsual dose is only 600 mg to 1200 mg , latter is better tbh, doses up till 3000 mg are given , so relax , not a major blunder-
