One of my friend used unfair means to pass hi examination. He used a mobile phone to cheat all throughout the exams and teachers (inviligators) couldn’t catch him. I jokingly informed the authorities about it and he caught caught. They are now forcing him either to drop out of the school or repeat the acedemic year. I feel so fucking guilty rn I can’t even express and can’t even tell this to anybody in my group.
Can the school rusticate him or ask him to repeat or take the tc? Should he consult a lawyer?

Did you provide any proof? If not then maybe there’s a camera which could make things evident. Or if your friend already confessed? A lot lot depends on this. And if he decides to take serious measures against the institute and they fail to manage enough evidence to support their claim then it’ll surely backfire on you. Cuz it’s your claim eventually

They could’ve checked the CCTVs

All the classrooms have CCTVs. Although they didn’t inform him how they caught him but I don’t think so it would be visible in the CCTVs.

Then it’s already shady enough for you to even damage control. You fucked up my guy against the mf’s who run an entire school. You can never guess what they might be cooking under their sleeves. Now if now you go to authorities saying “i was joking” then they’ll arrange plenty some gist exclusively for you. Now you’ve to decide if you wanna get out or save your mate. Get out – maybe loose a mate. Save your mate – save space for some bamboo from everyone

You should’ve warned him the first time he cheated that you’d tell on him and then if he did cheat then tell the authorities. I do hate cheaters too but no point in feeling guilty about you ruining someone’s year without even warning them

I did warn him to not cheat but he said he caught balls of a man and could cheat all the way through it. Also he enjoyed the cheer and fame he got because nobody dares to cheat using a mobile phone. He enjoyed the attention he was getting because of it.
