Please Help me with my POLICE VERIFICATION for my normal passport.

I just had my police verification for my passport. I was called in the station. I was born in my village, however I lived in different house because i am an orphan. But now I am an adult who have have settled in new city. The police asked for my Address Proof and I have them my Aadhar card which contain my present address details. HOWEVER the police is asking for other proof of Present Address. I don’t have rent agreement because again in this small city they don’t care about it. My electricity bills is under my owner’s name. (and my owner don’t even live here) I don’t have any thing other than Aadhar…Many of my friends got their work done with Aadhar card as their address proof. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
