My father has bought a plot in 2007, which is say 2000 sqft. He has constructed a house in 1000 sqft and rest 1000 sqft is adjoining the house or within the boundary walls of the house.
He did the registry (sale deed) from the buyer for 1000 sqft plot (on which he constructed house) and the rest 1000 sqft is being purchased from him but no registry was done for it. We do not have any legal documents to verify it. My father did an ikrarnama with the buyer to register the land in future date. My father is no more. We do not have ikrarnama with us. (neither copy nor original)
So, it means we do not have any legal documents to prove that the plot belongs to us.
What shall I do to get the plot registered in my name??
PS: We have that boundary wall constructed and the land comes within the boundary wall of our house.
Please help. This property is in Rajasthan, India.
Any advice is welcome.
