May 9, 2026 at 4:43 pmHi Everyone,On January 2nd, 2026, I was involved in a scooter accident where the vehicle skidded, causing me to fall near a footpath. A friend transported me to the hospital, where I was treated for three fractures and remained hospitalized for five days.
Initial police contact occurred on the first day of my hospitalization, at which point my statement was taken. Subsequently, there was no further communication.
After a period exceeding three months, I received a call from the police station requesting my presence at 9 PM to complete formalities. When I asked ‘What formalities?’ He replied with ‘Just come one and I’ll tell you’
Shall I just go to station and see?
Is there anything like this?

May 9, 2026 at 5:21 pmAdvocate here!Whether you have given a complaint regarding the accident?
Have you registered any FIR. If so they might have called you for further updates regarding that same.
Hope this helps

May 9, 2026 at 5:30 pmThen now I think they might have asked you to come to the police station to close that said complaint.Usually the intimation will be sent to the concerned police station from the hospital, due to which they might have taken a formal complaint.

May 9, 2026 at 5:56 pmLike everyone else the police too have to complete the paperwork. They will take your statement, make a report, take your signature and file it in the court to close the case. Take your aadhaar card with you along with a photocopy. They won’t waste your time because you are going there to help the police close the case.
Nothing to get worried.
