Suppose If someone purchasing a property now in their name and later if they get married and in a hypothetical situation get trapped by some greedy girl who’s sole purpose was to grab their wealth, keeping this in mind what options do we have to safeguard our new property purchase when we are planning to take a loan for the purchase on our name

I just want to tell people to not marry with this kind of distrust in your minds. Neither can you be at peace while making money and assets, nor can you have it when you get married. One cannot lead a happy life when this kind of thoughts keep circling in their mind.

Anyway, you can keep the property in your parents’ name and maybe keep contacts of good attorneys if and when a bad situation arises.

That goes for any situation. By that logic, women should be keeping hazmat suits and other weapons with them because of the number of dowry deaths, marital r*pe, female foeticide, domestic violence cases happening since time immemorial. Point is simple, marry only if you feel like it, don’t have so much negativity before stepping into a new chapter of your life.

Kha ka point ka kha leke jaa rhe ho, my point never said ke violence against women in marriage doens’t happens koi ladai nhi hai men vs women ke. It feels you are more affected by the prevalent negativity rather than me. I can understand both parties have to be cautious and I also agree with your point that carrying negativity in marriage or anywhere is gonna ruin it but then again there is no eye for eye wala part in my comments context

I think you misunderstood, I am not advocating for any particular side. My comment was merely in light of the original post, not marrying is valid for anyone who has so much lack of trust in the process.

Buy properties and park it in a trust. With you being the beneficiary of the trust.

Avoid living in your ancestral house post marriage.

Ensure that you have enough receipts of all expenses you bear. Especially the big ticket items like jewellery and stuff.
