My father and my uncle (my father’s sister’s husband) are in an ongoing dispute over my grandmother’s home. My uncle is pressuring my grandmother to transfer ownership of the house into his name. Additionally, without my grandmother’s consent, he activated the call recording feature on her phone to eavesdrop on all her conversations and is now using the recorded conversations to threaten my father.

My question is: Is it legal for someone to violate another person’s privacy in this way? Neither my grandmother nor anyone she spoke to knew they were being recorded.

Also, regarding inheritance, the house was built using money that my father received as compensation for a disability accident, in which he lost his right arm at a very young age. What does inheritance law say in this situation?
