My great-grandfather bought property in my father’s name out of love for his grandson. As far as I know, this property is not considered ancestral property since it was specifically purchased in my father’s name. However, now my grandfather, the son of my great-grandfather, is pressuring my dad and filing legal cases to divide this property so he can claim a share. He is very greedy and hasn’t worked much throughout his life; instead, he sold his father’s property and enjoyed the profits. This is likely why my great-grandfather chose not to purchase property in his name.

Now, I want to know if my grandfather can legally take any action regarding my father’s property. Can he distribute or claim any part of it? Please help me understand what steps I can take to assist my father.
