April 21, 2025 at 3:03 pmdid your mother get the property ownership via gpa?
you need to go back to the time where in to check who was other owner of the property and how that person got the property!
once doing that you need to verify the title to confirm that your mother is the rightful owner of the property.
hire a civil lawyer to ensure smooth process.
good day ๐-

April 21, 2025 at 3:21 pmI see multiple GPAs in the property papers and last GPA was executed under my mom name.I also see agreement to sell and purchase, deed will (of the person we bought this house).
For title confirmation what exact should I look for in the docs? Since GPA was a very common practice in delhi back then to buy property.

April 21, 2025 at 3:23 pmsee collect every document you have related to the property and approach the lawyer. once he verifies everything he will let you know the next process. if he feels the process needs other paper works or documents he will le you know. i hope you find a good lawyer.-

April 21, 2025 at 3:30 pmI see make sense. Yeah not really sure how easy was it for people who bought properties back then using GPAs to convert and register. Since now we also have to pay for stamp duty etc.-
