May 5, 2025 at 6:48 pmOur society was formed three years ago and we receive a common bill for property tax. Out of 200 members there are 20 members who have not paid a single paisa of tax for past three years. The municipal corporation says that till all dues are not paid, they won’t transfer the bills to individual flats/units. And they keep levying penalty every month on balance amount.
The unpaid balance is not something that society can bear and recover. Many of these defaulters are politically influence persona.
What is the best way to tackle this situation so that the members who are paying regularly are not penalized ?
