I (35M) got divorced 10 months ago from my ex-wife (34F). As part of our mutual divorce settlement, she did not take any alimony, and we agreed that she would buy out my share of our jointly owned house.
The house is worth ₹4 crores, and we both contributed equally. She is now ready to pay ₹2 crores for my 50% share. The property is registered in both our names.
Since the divorce is already finalized, do I need to do anything legally apart from signing the sale deed and getting it registered at the Sub-Registrar’s office?
