My father was laid off from IIFT in oct 2023, after working for around 25years.
It has been 1.5 years since then but his provident fund and pension fund havenโt been settled yet. I am not entirely aware of the whole situation but as my father explained the PF and pension was to be merged from 3 different contracting companies but there has been a dispute in the settlement from the 3rd company, due which he is not able to withdraw the funds from the remaining two companies. The total amount of PF has to be around 3 lacs.
Is there anyway we can claim the PF and pension? -

April 16, 2025 at 2:00 pmThis is for everyone. Whenever you change your job, when you receive the first PF from your new employer, transfer funds from old employer to new employer.DO THIS FOR EVERY SWITCH, this will prevent headaches to deal with multiple companies for PF and you only need to worry about the latest / last one.

April 16, 2025 at 2:02 pmI got this done for my entire team because I know how our government and HRโs are.Saw some of my seniorโs juggling between 3 to 4 companies just for PF because they didnโt transfer the amount and was in the respective company.

April 16, 2025 at 3:49 pmAFAIK if situation like these arises where companies are not supporting, visit nearby PF center and submit claim form. The last company should have marked your dadโs exit i.e. the date when is left the company.
